In this project I wanted to design Neodymium in a physical way that was both clean concise.
In my sketches I do this by designing metallic cubes. The idea was that these metal cubes would move around being attracted or repelled from each other, showcasing its magnetic properties.

The first image showcases my design behind the metal cube animation. Each cube is made up of 6 layers of square shapes which are parented and nulled. Each cube is then animated on its own position path to come together and form the giant one.Â

The second image a break down of each individual square side of the cube. Every square contains rounded corners with a light gray gradient.Â
